Ahhh after recovering froman episode of being soaped, T-P'D and our lil pumpkins smooshed upon our WELCOME mat, we had a super nice local lady and her daughter deliver a new HUGE pumpkin, how wonderful! I am posting pics of Phoenix with it, he likes to give pumpkins kisses for some odd reason, sweet lil thing! We took him to three homes of other teachers, and they even had age apprioprate goodies, teddy grahams and nilla wafers for him:) We then took him by the Masonic Lodge here which gave him a glow stick that he LOVED, he waved it around at everyone on the street. Then we headed over to the Legion here for a kid's party with Great goodies, treats, candy, games etc... Phoenix LOVED watching the kids, he would talk and warbled at them as they played games. He ate some witch Marshmellows too. Daddy helped him eat the other candy that was a bit too old for him. They had a great orange punch too, Phoenix LOVED IT! He dressed in his grapes outfit, most people thought he was a fruit of the Loom grape guy, oops I didn't think of that! We had a blast driving around Cerro Gordo watching a LOAD of people w/ kids trickor treating. There was even a tractor with a hay rack carting kids to and from homes to trick or treat. So neat! We had some kids come back here actually first in the afternoon and rubbed soap all over Scott's car, of course it was only 3:45 and we yelled at the morons and thought of chasing them with the pumpkin guts from the pumkin we had just carved and tossing it at them, but we were too lazy. then again some turds came back and started to saran wrap his car, Scott ran after him and boy did that kid RUN. Then some kids came by to say: "HI", ---Scott's players that know better than to mess with Scott, they had a garbage bag full of toliet paper and were heading around to hit homes. my goodness I have never seen a town so into it, oh well...
Phoenix and I visited with Grammie at the Lake and had a well rested time, except for poor Grammie that chased him all around the house as he headed for every outlet he could spy. Oh he giggles as he does it because he knows he is not suppose to do that! I had a horrible cold so I was sleeping most of the day and she was such a super help to me.
phoenix is now trying to feed us with his food, he gets a kick out of it, so cute! Whenever we ask him for things now, like a toy or his spoon and he gives it to us. BUT if you ask too much he will tease you and act like he is giving it to you then jerks it back and laughs, cracks up laughing.
nOT TO MENTION HE ALSO THINKS IT IS FUNNY WHEN i CHANGE A POOPY DIAPER, HE ONLY LAUGHS WHEN i GO TO CHANGE A POOPY ONE! He must get this humor from his uncle, let's blame him:)
My sister in law told me today after a long day of my niece Ashley was a bit worn out, emtional tired kid. She told her she didnt want a mommy and wished she (Anne) lived on the moon! The things kids think up! Yes Anne, enjoy your little newborn lovey dovey cuddler!!!!!!
