If there is no complications health wise for mom to pass anthing to baby then yes breast is best.Jaunaehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11678187229486900889noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-26450341.post-1146408678380150952006-04-30T09:51:00.000-05:002006-04-30T09:51:00.000-05:00This post is misguided at best and scaremongering ...This post is misguided at best and scaremongering at worst. I have crohn's and due to the medication I am on was advised (by my qualified crohn's doctors) not to breastfeed my daughter, now don't you think that if she was in danger of getting crohn's then they would have changed my medication so that I could breastfeed? <BR/>Their advice was actually that not breastfeeding my daughter would not have any detrimental effect on her. Please be assured that your child will not die if you don't breastfeed, you are not being a bad mother, and that a lot of this post is made up of material that is far from the truth. There is no denying that breastfeeding can be very satisfying for mother and baby but there are pros and cons to both.Erica Douglashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01399571477792412237noreply@blogger.com
